If you're in the Dallas area, Saemaeul Korean BBQ is an absolute must-visit! This was hands down one of the best Korean BBQ experiences we've had. The food was incredible from start to finish. The quality of the meat was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The kimchi and ssamjang were the best we've ever had, and every single side dish was delicious. You can tell that a lot of care goes into every part of the meal. The restaurant itself is also beautifully designed, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was the service. Our server, Dylan, was absolutely phenomenal. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely seemed to care that we had the best possible experience. He made sure everything was cooked to perfection, checked on us throughout the meal, and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great time. Service like his is hard to come by, and he truly elevated an already amazing dining experience. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we'll come back. Best KBBQ I have ever had. I really like the setup as well. The round tables made it easier for everyone to reach everything on the table. And the way that they setup their grill, the smoke didn't get on our clothes as much as a normal KBBQ. The sides were very good. My favorite was their spring onion salad. It goes great with all the meat. Service was good. They will cook for you and leave you alone unless you need something. There's a button on the table where you can press to call them if you need anything. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

We visited this place twice when it first opened, and honestly, we were disappointed with both the food and the service, so we stopped coming back for a long time. However, after seeing many recent positive reviews, my husband and I decided to give it another chance today — and we are so glad we did. Everything felt refreshed. The management, menu, and staff all seem to have improved significantly, and our experience was completely different this time. The food was great, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Annie, the manager, who is truly exceptional at taking care of guests. She paid attention to customers and made sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. Great management really makes a difference, and she made our experience memorable. We are beyond satisfied with our visit today, and we will definitely be coming back. We’ll also be recommending this place to our family and friends. It’s always great to see a business improve and create such a positive experience. Highly recommended!

What an incredible experience for lunch. We came here for a late Mother's Day event and our guests were over the moon with the service, fresh bonchons and meats. The gyerran jym was filling, silky and one the best I've ever had in Dallas. The prices are on par with quality of the food. I can't wait to return for dinner.

I have to say, while the menu is a bit pricey, it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of the meat and the authenticity of the Korean cuisine. I was quite impressed, especially considering it’s owned by Paik Jong Won. We started with a generous selection of banchan. The kimchi stood out in particular—the flavor was spot on. We also ordered the japchae and soondubu jjigae, and both dishes were rich and flavorful. It really reminded me of meals I’ve had in Seoul. For BBQ, we went with the boneless short rib, skirt steak, and pork butt. All the meats were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly by the server. The only comment or suggestion was not to let your server rush putting meat on the grill back to back without stopping. I had to ask my server to pause grilling after the short ribs so that we had time to enjoy the japchae and soondobu while they were still hot. The server totally got it and gave us some space. All good 👍 To avoid lines, we went at 5:30pm. After 6pm all tables were full.
